WILDER Compound short film by Syracuse students

This past spring I partnered with The Canary Project in their Modern Primitive Exchange initiative to produce a workshop series called WILDER Compound (Wildly Interdependent Living + Design Education for Resilience) in which students learned about community organizing, how to fix bikes and how to grow your own food as well as built a bike-powered phone charger, a claypot oven, and a geodesic dome greenhouse!

The short film above was made by two Syracuse University students who took the WILDER workshop series offered through the University last spring, showing our progress and exploring the themes of self-reliance, sustainability and community building. Thanks Augie Cummings and Spencer Garrison for creating this great overview of the work we all did together!
